Banded Crickets

2nd Banded Brown Crickets (6mm)

2nd Banded Brown Crickets (6mm)

Our LetterBox Livefood pack contains approximately 200 banded crickets (Gryllodes sigillatus). The 2nd Instar banded crickets are roughly 6 mm in size. Banded Crickets are also known as the tropical house cricket.

2nd instar Tropical House / banded crickets are ideal for feeding to small amphibians, frogs and spiderlings.

Tropical House / banded crickets can form one of the main parts of the diet for popular Reptile, amphibian and Invertebrate species. We dispatch our crickets direct from the UK's leading live food breeders straight to your door. And our unique Letterbox Packs mean they will fit straight through your letterbox. Bringing you fresh, healthy and nutritious crickets with minimum effort on your part.

If you order your crickets before 12:00 pm (midday) we will process your order the same day (excluding weekends) and the crickets will be posted that day. 95% of orders arrive the next day but do please allow up to four working days for delivery.  Our  crickets are packed into plastic letterbox packs with a cardboard insert and feeding bran to keep the  crickets secure and safe during delivery. These plastic packs are then shipped inside a secure cardboard mailer which provides insulation for the locust.

To care for your Tropical House / banded crickets simply keep the letterbox livefood pack somewhere cool and dark and the crickets should remain fresh for around a week after delivery. Although with these hatchlings you either feed then all off immediately or place a slice of raw carrot in with them for hydration as they are prone to dehydrate rapidly.
